Before a client call. Before a pitch. Before entering a new market.

You need facts, context, and credible data - fast. Here is a single prompt that does the heavy lifting in one shot.

The Research Prompt

"I need to quickly understand [TOPIC] for a professional context. Do the following:

1. Identify 5 key themes around [TOPIC] that are relevant in current business discussions.
2. Find at least 5 recent statistics or data points. Cite the source and date for each.
3. Find 3-5 quotes from industry experts or credible publications. Include the author, source, and context.
4. Write a 150-word summary combining the key themes, stats, and quotes.
5. Flag any limitations — where data might be outdated, biased, or uncertain."

Paste your topic where it says [TOPIC]. Run it. You get a structured research brief in under a minute.

How to Use the Output

The prompt gives you raw material — not a finished document. Here is how to turn it into something useful fast:

Before a sales call - scan the stats and one or two expert quotes. Drop them naturally into conversation. Instant credibility.

Before entering a new market - use the key themes section to understand what actually matters in that space before your first meeting.

Before writing a proposal - use the summary as your opening context paragraph. Edit it into your voice.

Before a presentation - pull the strongest stat and quote. Two data points used well beat ten data points used lazily.

The One Thing That Slows This Down

The prompt works. The bottleneck is having it ready when you need it.

Most people who read this will not have it available in 3 days. It will be buried in a chat, a note, a browser tab they closed.

Save it in PromptClip. Assign it a shortcut. Next time you have 10 minutes before a call — one key, pasted, running.
