PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE ("TERMS") CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD, PURCHASE OR USE PROMPTCLIP ("THE APP", "THE SOFTWARE"). BY INSTALLING OR USING THE APP, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE APP.

1. About PromptClip

PromptClip is a macOS productivity application for clipboard and snippet management, developed and operated by Kirill Mirgorod ("we", "us"). PromptClip is licensed, not sold.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a worldwide, personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PromptClip on your personal macOS device.

One license covers one user and may be activated only on 1 personal Mac device.

3. Restrictions

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or resell the App;

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where explicitly permitted by applicable law;

• modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App;

• use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

4. Trial Period

PromptClip includes a free 14-day trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial. After the trial ends, a valid license is required to continue using core functionality.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as merchant of record. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service at paddle.com/legal/terms. All pricing, applicable taxes, and payment terms are displayed at checkout. We offer a one-time payment model — no subscriptions, no recurring charges.

6. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with PromptClip. Because we offer a full-featured 14-day free trial before purchase, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds are generally approved when:

• you were charged in error;

• the App has a reproducible technical issue that prevents normal use and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe;

• required by applicable consumer protection law.

Refunds are generally not approved when:

• the request is made more than 14 days after purchase;

• the App has been used extensively before the request;

• abuse or repeated refund requests are suspected.

To request a refund, contact us at iamkirillmirgorod@gmail.com with your purchase email and transaction ID. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within the timeframe determined by your bank or payment provider.

This policy does not limit any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.

7. User Data & Privacy

PromptClip stores your clipboard history locally on your Mac. We do not collect, store, or access your clipboard contents on our servers. Your data stays on your device. For full details, see our Privacy Policy at promptclip.io/privacy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App.

10. Updates & Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at promptclip.io/terms. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies from your devices.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts of Belgrade, Serbia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
